The competition has now ended.
Our trees have worked really hard this year to bring you bottles of refreshing Bulmers Cider, and now their work is done for another season, we thought we’d say thanks by keeping them cosy this winter. To do this, we’ve teamed up with yarn bomber extraordinaire Lauren O’Farrell (AKA Deadly Knitshade) to knit them some festive jumpers… and you can get involved.
We’re giving lucky winners the chance to have their Twitter handle knitted onto one of our custom-made tree cosies at the beautiful Broome Farm in Hereford! To be in with a chance of winning, simply tweet us with your favourite Bulmers Cider flavour using the hashtag #LiveColourful.
We’re also giving lucky runners-up the chance to live warm and toasty this winter with Bulmers woolly hats and gloves – the perfect accompaniment to a chilled bottle of Bulmers . Whether you’re a Bulmers Original kind of guy or a Crushed Red Berries and Lime kind of gal, let us know via Twitter to be in with a chance of winning.
Wait! What’s yarn bombing, you ask? It’s simple. People from all over the world decorate urban places with wool to bring a little colour to people’s lives. It started in the US around a decade ago and has since spread worldwide. Our knitter, Lauren O’Farrell, is a seasoned pro and has even written books on her art.
If you’re not already, follow us on Twitter and over the coming weeks, watch our trees #LiveColourful this winter.
