The first drop of BULMERS cider was pressed by 20 year old H.P. ‘Percy’ Bulmer in 1887, using apples from the orchard at his father’s rectory in Hereford. Find out more about our history here.

Our ciders are made with locally grown cider (or bittersweet) apples, together with culinary apples using the same basic principles as have been used in cider-making for centuries.

There are several varieties of BULMERS Cider available in the UK, listed below:

BULMERS Crushed Red Berries and Lime
BULMERS Orchard Pioneers Cloudy Apple

All the flavourings used in BULMERS ciders are natural flavourings.  We do not use any artificial colours in our ciders. 

BULMERS Original and BULMERS Crushed Red Berries and Lime is best served over ice. To enjoy the full flavour of Orchard Pioneers they are best enjoyed chilled, straight from the bottle.

In order to enjoy our ciders at their best they should be drunk before the best before date. While it will not cause you any harm to drink it after the best before date has expired, we can’t guarantee that the quality will be as good as we, and you, would expect.

Our ciders should be stored in a cool, dry place and kept well chilled as BULMERS is best enjoyed cold.

We don’t use any genetically modified ingredients in BULMERS ciders.

We do not test any of our products on animals.

Yes, all of BULMERS Ciders are suitable for vegans.

All of our ciders are made from ingredients which do not contain gluten.

There are no nuts used in the production of any BULMERS ciders.

BULMERS is available in nearly 40,000 pubs and bars in the UK. BULMERS is also available in Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose, Co-op and Convenience stores nationwide.
